Kale Chips

Serves 1


  • 4 large kale leaves
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Small pinch sea salt
  • Small pinch chilli powder (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray.
  2. Cut the stalks off the kale and break leaves into pieces.
  3. In a bowl mix the oil, lemon juice, chilli and salt. Throw in the leaves and massage the dressing into the leaves until all are coated.
  4. Spread the leaves out evenly on a baking tray.
  5. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until slightly browned and crisp.
